IVF

Ok, so many of you know that Tommy and I have struggled with having children. We have decided to try IVF, and we optimistically excited. I plan to update this every week once we get going on this. For those of you who don't know how this works I am going to explain this briefly...basically the first month your take some medicine to suppress your ovaries, so that next month you can produce 10 eggs (follicles). I will be taking a birth control and doing injections of Lupron. After beginning my next cycle I will start other drugs to produce 10 great eggs, then they will remove the eggs. Tommy and I will also need ICSI, which is where the sperm is placed directly into the egg, then 3 days later they will plant 2 eggs into my uterus. Then we will wait two weeks, to see if we are pregnant, but we have to be careful, because sometimes, it can be a false positive, and so we should be careful about being excited until we have an ultrasound. So please think and pray positive thoughts for us.
