Dr. Apptment on 10/31/08

I went to the Dr on Friday and everything checked out well. My uterus is measuring 16 weeks and I am only 14 weeks, but that is normal since we are having twins. We also found out that I have o- blood, which is fine, I will just need to have a shot at about 28 weeks called Rhogam, and possibly have another shot after the babies are born depending on what kind of blood type they are. We also found out that I am a carrier of the gene that causes cystic fibrosis, so they are testing Tommy to see if he is a carrier as well. If Tommy isn't a carrier then this is no big deal, but if he is we have a 25% chance of having a baby with cystic fibrosis, so hopefully he is not a carrier. ( I will keep you posted on this). Our next appointment is on 11-24-08 and at that appointment we will schedule an ultrasound for the following week, hopefully at this ultrasound we will find out the sex of the babies. Also, my post should become more regular again, I am feeling better and I no longer employed. I will now have sometime on my hands, but hopefully not for too long.
